Sponsorship Opportunities

The Chicago section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is holding a Symposium, titled “Recent Developments in Refining, Energy, and Biotechnology ”, on September 25-26, 2007. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

This two-day symposium features sessions in

  • Refining Technology
  • Energy and Power Technology Developments
  • Biofuels Technology
  • Food Processing Technology

This event has promise to be a premier symposium on the latest developments in enegy conservation, refinery processing, and biotechnology.

Our goal is to have a broad participation from academics and industry. In order to achieve this goal, we would like to keep the registration fee low so that more attendees can benefit from this outstanding symposium. The registration fee is expected to cover part of the costs. We are looking for corporate sponsorship to cover the rest of the cost of holding this symposium. We invite your company to be a sponsor of this premier symposium and encourage you to send your staff to participate in the symposium.

Sponsorship Information:

These sponsorship opportunities will provide a great way for you to promote your company to more than one-hundred chemical engineering professionals who will attend the symposium and to other chemical engineers in the Midwest who will receive information on the symposium.

The sponsorship amounts are at $2,000, $1,000 and $500 levels. In recognition of your company’s sponsorship, the company name will be included in the Conference Proceedings and other conference promotional literature and items.

Your company may choose to sponsor a specific event such as a coffee break or a lunch break or the poster session. These specific activities can be sponsored at increments of $500.

In addition, you can sponsor some students to attend the symposium at $150 per student.

I hope that your company will be a sponsor to this exciting symposium and make it a huge success. The details of the symposium can be found at http://www.aiche-chicago.org/symposium/. This website will be constantly updated as more information becomes available. If you have any question please contact the undersigned members or any member of the Symposium Committee. Thank you very much for your continued support of AIChE!
