The Chicago section of the American
Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is holding a Symposium,
titled “Refinery Processing and In-Plant Energy
Conservation and Optimization”, on October 9-10th,
2006. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Chemical and Environmental
Engineering Department of the Illinois
Institute of Technology (IIT), Chicago.
This two-day symposium features sessions
in
We have commitments from senior executives at CITGO and JACOBS (on
Energy topics) to give plenary lectures. This event has promise to
be a premier symposium on the latest developments in enegy conservation
and refinery processing.
Our goal is to have a broad participation from academics and industry.
In order to achieve this goal, we would like to keep the registration
fee low so that more attendees can benefit from this outstanding symposium.
The registration fee is expected to cover part of the costs. We are
looking for corporate sponsorship to cover the rest of the cost of
holding this symposium. We invite your company to be a sponsor
of this premier symposium and encourage you to send your staff to participate
in the symposium.
Sponsorship Information:
These sponsorship opportunities will provide
a great way for you to promote your company to more than one-hundred
chemical engineering professionals who will attend the symposium
and to other chemical engineers in the Midwest who will receive information
on the symposium.
The sponsorship amounts are at $2,000, $1,000 and $500
levels. In recognition of your company’s sponsorship, the company
name will be included in the Conference Proceedings and other conference
promotional literature and items.
Your company may choose to sponsor a specific event
such as a coffee break or a lunch break or the poster session. These
specific activities can be sponsored at increments of $500.
In addition, you can sponsor some students to attend
the symposium at $150 per student.
I hope that your company will be a sponsor to this exciting
symposium and make it a huge success. The details of the symposium
can be found at http://www.aiche-chicago.org/symposium/.
This website will be constantly updated as more information becomes
available. If you have any question please contact the undersigned
